On behalf of a leading company part of a Group leader in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), characterized by a specialized products portfolio and affected by complex chemical synthesis processes, we are looking for the:

Main responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales Director, he/she will be responsible for management and development of customer accounts through a deep evaluation of the customers’ needs.

In detail he/she will:

  • manage day-to-day operations for customer Accounts in allocated territories, with objectives of customer development, new business development, and tangible sales and margin growth
  • explore all opportunities to develop and grow the business, whether assessing potential markets for new APIs, or assessing potential customer base for existing APIs, through email and frequent business travels in the assigned Countries (30% of working time)
  • Define business and action plans for the assigned areas and customers
  • Set up meetings with clients and integrating their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Liaise closely with all team members (R&D, Quality Unit, Production) and Customer Service for better results

 

Place of work: Site based in South Milan area.

The company offers a flexible working approach (remote working in addition to on Site working).

Profilo

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science – Industrial or Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Technology preferred
  • At least 2 years of work experience as technical-sales specialist or similar roles in pharmaceutical / chemical / cosmetic industry
  • Thorough understanding of negotiating techniques, strong attitude to create and keep relationships with Customers, Suppliers and all the internal functions.
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Outgoing personality, great communication skills with a sensitivity for different cultural backgrounds
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Italian mother tongue, proficiency in English
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office

 

Ability to travel internationally
