Global Heor Special Care Manager

Reporting to the Global Value & Access (GVA) Special Care Head, the Global HEOR Special Care Manager position is a highly accountable thought and decision leader who works cross-functionally with other Access, Commercial, Medical and R&D leaders within Special Care, impacting global development and strategies.

His/her main objective is to develop and execute the Global HEOR strategic plans for Special Care in-line and pipeline products.

Main responsibilities:

· Research and preform critical analysis of medical and scientific evidence as the basis for disease burden/unmet needs, disease management guidelines and pharmacoeconomic comparison of therapies· Understanding unmet HEOR evidence needs by product / P&R archetype
· Outlining and implementing HEOR strategy for assets in development, on the market and for in-licensing candidates
·  Managing OR studies, particularly retrospective database studies (administrative claims data, EHR) to support the value proposition for Special Care products
· Define / execute HEOR strategy / plan for Special Care brands in development / in – market, thus contributing to cross-functional Product Development Plan·Developing / adapting / assessing Health Economic models at different stages of development
· Contributing to the development of Value Stories, Global Value Dossiers, other value communication tools· Project management from concept to final deliverable including defining and managing HEOR publication plan· Maintain awareness of global HEOR requirements, PRO guidelines, regulatory legislation, best practices, and case studies
· Managing HEOR budget, external vendors, ensuring compliance
· Supporting affiliates in reimbursement / market shaping activities, supervising local HEOR tools adoption and their impact

Profilo

Requirements and Qualifications:

·  Education: Master’s degree in Life-sciences, Health Economics / Economics, Health Policy. MBA, PhD in Market Access would represent a plus
·  Fluent in written and verbal Business English is required
· At least 3 years experience within pharmaceutical/ healthcare/ consultancy field, proven track record of HEOR strategy development and execution, mastery of HTA processes, understanding of international pricing and reimbursement mechanisms
· Demonstrated expertise in developing HEOR strategies, evidence generation strategies, economic modelling and payer value propositions/messaging
·  He/she will be expected to operate in close alignment with Global Access Managers, Global Commercial, Medical, and R&D colleagues as well as regional and local leadership.
